For the 2022 British Grand Prix Formula One race,

The Dyno Nobel Ammonia Plant is one of the first onshore ammonia plants to be built in the United States in the past 20 years, and one of the first built in Louisiana in a quarter century. It’s also the first to use

KBR completed the functional and detailed design for upgrades to Gippsland Water's Drouin Wastewater Treatment Plant in Victoria, Australia. The plant is being augmented to meet a 2050 design horizon, with a new membrane bioreactor activated sludge mechanical treatment plant. The improvements will reduce operations and maintenance labor requirements and minimize life cycle costs.

KBR DELIVERED DESIGNS FOR NEW FINE SCREENS, MEMBRANE BIOREACTOR AND AERATION SYSTEMS, A SLUDGE DEWATERING FACILITY, CHEMICAL DOSING AND ODOR TREATMENT PLANTS, A NEW OPERATIONS BUILDING, AND ASSOCIATED CIVIL, ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL WORKS.

This project also included a virtual reality (VR) model for the entire facility. It was the first time Gippsland Water had used VR to better review design and to manage stakeholder and community expectations.

Since 2017,

KBR HAS WORKED AS AN INTEGRATED TEAM WITH OZ MINERALS, PROVIDING PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF ITS $916M CARRAPATEENA COPPER-GOLD MINE PROJECT.

The mine, located 160 kilometers north of Port Augusta in South Australia’s Far North region, is one of Australia's largest undeveloped copper deposits.

Lithium-ion batteries are used in many different devices people use every day, including mobile phones, laptops and electric vehicles. Producing high-quality, long-lasting batteries requires lithium salt with a high degree of purity. While the current standard is 99.5% purity,

KBR’S TECHNOLOGY CAN GENERATE LITHIUM THAT’S 99.9% PURE FROM AN IMPURE SOLUTION.

Our technology also makes it possible to recover the water involved in the process, which is important as water is a scarce resource in many parts of the world.
