One of our principal goals at KBR is to enable a culture where people can thrive and continuously develop. In July 2021, KBR launched pilots of a new approach to performance management, specifically designed to ensure that employees, managers, and our business are getting the most out of the experience. In the spirit of a reimagined KBR — the mission-focused, solutions-driven, technology-enabled company of the future — we’re calling our new process KBR Agile Performance and Development. As we continue to roll out the process across the company, we have developed this guide to answer any questions employees and managers may have, including why we’ve adopted it, how it works, and what the benefits are. We encourage you to refer to it often as we will be updating it regularly with new information, including answers to frequently asked questions and tips on how to make the approach more effective and meaningful for all involved.

The new process requires less admin, so managers have more time to coach their team members and have meaningful dialogue on priorities, performance and development.
