Key Accomplishments
- KBR continues to provide maintenance and logistics services to customers at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California to support the U.S. Army building brigade combat team readiness with ten annual training rotations.
- KBR assisted Operation Warp Speed (OWS), now known as Countermeasures Acceleration Group (CAG), by providing 68 temporary trailers throughout the United States to help manufacture the Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines. At the peak, established 40 sites with temporary facilities, utilities, and equipment across United States. KBR’s contribution to the COVID-19 solution had a worldwide impact.
- KBR provided base life and logistics services to accommodate over 58,000 displaced Afghans for the U.S. Department of Defense in the U.S. and Europe; facilitated the rapid development of vital infrastructure at five separate military bases used to accommodate displaced Afghans. In June 2022, KBR was awarded a 2022 Global Impact Award by the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) for its role in Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) and Refugee Resettlement Operations (large company category).
- As part of the LOGCAP NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled U.S. Army training exercises. KBR supported Warfighter exercises. KBR’s LOGCAP team successfully completed another year of support to Warfighter operations by providing typical LOGCAP services at two locations.
- In early summer of 2021, and with just a week to serve the very first meal, NORTHCOM was directed to proceed with the Fort Knox food service operation for cadet summer training. KBR used three subcontractors to staff dining facility operations with over 400 subcontractor employees. As the Fort Knox 2021 mission was executed successfully with over 600K meals served, KBR was called again to provide food service operation in 2022. KBR once again provided food service operations in support of cadet summer training; the second year in a row KBR was selected to provide support to Army Cadets.
- KBR provided temporary food service facility support to Fort Jackson, SC and Hunter Army Airfield, GA as both locations underwent construction of permanent dining facilities.
