Only available in certain countries, the KBR Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) allows you to purchase KBR stock at a discount, save for your future and share in KBR's growth and success. When you choose to participate in the ESPP, you set aside a small amount of each paycheck — on an after-tax basis — to purchase KBR stock at a discount. You have an opportunity to buy shares of KBR stock during the two enrollment periods in July and December each year. Deductions from your paycheck will begin in August and February following each enrollment period.

Throughout the last five years, KBR's Government Solutions (GS) APAC Engineering Graduate program has trained 15 young engineers. KBR was instrumental in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's Surface Aviation Interoperability Laboratory (SAIL) team being awarded the Department of the Navy (DON) Test and Evaluation (T&E) Award for 2022 for solving major challenges pertaining to the MH-60R/S and H-1 test teams. The team also exceeded expectations regarding support provided to the development, test, and evaluation of datalink systems across nearly every aircraft and ship in the Navy and Marine Corps inventory. Nominated by the SAIL team, this is the first time KBR has been a part of the award-winning collaboration.
KBR’s Michael Kluck published his first book on modularization! Michael is one of KBR’s module subject matter experts and develops feasibility studies for our clients as well as follow-up efforts on subsequent module planning and project execution modeling. Over his 27 years with KBR, Michael has been involved in engineering design supervision and project management of major upstream and downstream projects worldwide.
KBR's Science and Space business unit was recently awarded the prestigious Dwight D. Eisenhower Award for Excellence in research and development by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Given only every three years, this award recognizes our commitment to utilizing small businesses as suppliers and subcontractors and our excellence in managing our small business program, utilization, and reporting requirements.
KBR successfully completed the start-up of a phenol acetone plant with a capacity of 280,000 tons per year for Guangxi Huayi New Materials in Qinzhou City of Guangxi Province, China. This project uses KBR's world-leading phenol acetone technology. KBR’s team faced significant obstacles due to stringent ongoing COVID lockdowns but successfully carried out the mechanical completion inspection, commissioning and start-up site services for the plant between 2019 and December 2022.
KBR set a record for the fastest phenol, acetone technology start-up this year. KBR, the world's leading supplier of phenol and acetone technology, signed an agreement with Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. to provide technology to build a 650 KTA phenol/acetone plant in Yantai City, Shandong Province in China. Through the joint efforts of Wanhua Chemical and KBR teams, the plant began producing qualified products in only eight days, a record for the fastest ever start-up using KBR's phenol acetone technology.
