KBR Sponsors Veterans to Attend NASCAR’s Pennzoil 400

KBR recently partnered with the Welcome Home Patriots Initiative, sponsoring 100 U.S. military veterans and their families to attend the NASCAR Pennzoil 400 in Las Vegas, Nevada. KBR created a VIP experience that was hosted by employees who are military veterans themselves.

The veterans and their families were invited to a special hospitality tent where they enjoyed lunch and received backpacks full of KBR swag. In addition to tickets to the race, they also got to meet the drivers!

KBR will be sponsoring two more NASCAR events — the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 24 and the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on October 25.

KBR.com Wins Gold Addy Award

KBR recently won the prestigious Gold ADDY in the “Websites B-to-B” category at the 2020 American Advertising Federation Awards in Houston. The award recognized the new KBR.com website as one of the most advanced websites in the industry!

KBR partnered with award-winning, Houston-based advertising agency, Adcetera, to launch the new site as part of our recent rebranding. The new site is not only bold and modern looking, it provides a dynamic and personalized user experience.

Houston Rockets Partnership

KBR announced a new paid partnership with the Houston Rockets during the 2019–2020 NBA season. In addition to a pregame marketing promotion, this partnership takes place on social media as part of the team’s online Throwback Thursday campaign.

On social media, the Rockets share pictures of former players with the KBR logo included in the image. Each post is also tagged with the hashtag #ProudHistoryBrightFuture, one of KBR’s company slogans.

The People of KBR campaign is a monthly feature on social media that highlights KBR employees who have interesting jobs or hobbies both at work and outside the office. The campaign also focuses on employees who have been honored with recent awards or who have achieved work milestones.
