There’s a group of around 40 of us in the Perth office who’ve signed up to do S30 classes - a fusion of weight training and cardio at a local gym. The classes are on daily, and on any given day there's between 2-10 of us at a class. It’s a great way to connect with colleagues outside of the traditional work setting, and get fit in the process.”

At KBR we value our employees and their lives outside of work. We have a variety of flexible work options that help you relax, recover and take time for the things that matter most. Options such as:

  • A flexible work schedule – We trust you to get the job done on a schedule that works for you, your manager, and the clients you support. A non-standard work schedule may be provided to you with the ability to flex your work schedule (with manager approval, of course).
  • An agile working week (AWW) – To help you with work/life balance, KBR offers the opportunity to take accrued time off each month, totalling up to 13 additional leave days per year
  • Annual leave options – We offer up to 20 days of paid leave annually so you can connect with loved ones, serve your community, relax, unplug, and stay well. But if you would prefer to work, you have the option to cash out instead of taking leave if you have more than four weeks accrued. You also have the option to purchase additional annual leave should you require extra time off.

  • Primary and secondary carer parental leave ­– Becoming a parent is an exciting step for families, and KBR recognises the importance of parent-child bonding. KBR provides up to 12 weeks’ paid primary carer leave, or 24 weeks continuation at 50% of salary to help with the transition. Plus when you return, you’ll receive continued flexibility through our flexible working options so you can deliver your work and meet new family obligations. For secondary carer leave, KBR offers 2 weeks continuation of salary, which can be taken at a specified period within the first 12 months of the birth or adoption.
  • Corporate discounts and financial benefits – KBR offers a range of corporate discounts on a variety of items and experiences, such as healthcare insurance, gym memberships, computers, and more; as well as novated leases, an employee stock purchase plan, bonuses and awards, and much, much more.
