Milestones in Motion: Advancing the Pluto Scarborough T1 Modification Project

The Pluto Scarborough T1 Modification (PT1M) Project achieved several major milestones, demonstrating excellence in engineering, logistics, and execution. A key accomplishment was the successful fabrication, transportation, and installation of the NGL M2 module, one of the largest modules delivered for the project, measuring 45m × 25m × 38m and weighing approximately 4,512 tonnes.

The project team also successfully completed the fabrication and shipment of the N2R, NGL M1, and 1600 modules to Karratha, Australia. These achievements reflect strong collaboration, an unwavering commitment to safety and quality, and disciplined project execution, bringing the Scarborough development closer to commissioning and operational readiness.

To mark these significant milestones and recognize the team's dedication and collective effort, the PT1M team came together for a celebratory dinner at the Radisson Blu Hotel. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the project's success, acknowledge the contributions of team members, and strengthen team camaraderie.

Advancing Reliability at One of the World's Leading LNG Facilities

As part of the NLNG Train 1 MCHE Replacement Project, a visit to Bonny Island, Nigeria provided valuable firsthand exposure to one of the world's leading LNG export facilities and an opportunity to support a key phase of the project.

The visit focused on the replacement of the 55M Main Cryogenic Heat Exchanger (MCHE) in Train 1, a critical component of the LNG liquefaction process. KBR, in partnership with Frazimex Engineering, is supporting this project to enhance the facility's long-term reliability and performance.

The engagement offered valuable insights into the scale and complexity of Nigeria LNG (NLNG), while also providing an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with the client and project stakeholders, improve coordination, and gain a deeper understanding of site operations.

The successful visit reinforced stakeholder relationships and highlighted KBR's commitment to delivering world-class energy solutions through technical excellence, collaboration, and global expertise.

Bul Hanine Redevelopment Project: Delivering Excellence at Scale

The Bul Hanine Redevelopment Project, executed for COOEC / QatarEnergy, is KBR's largest EPC project, encompassing approximately 1.8 million workhours and a team of over 600 professionals across SOC, COC, BEC, LOC, and HOC.

Throughout 2026, the project team celebrated key milestones and strengthened collaboration through global town halls, project recognition awards, and team-building activities. A dedicated Bul Hanine Task Force was also established to promote alignment, teamwork, and project awareness across delivery centers.

A notable highlight was the COOEC PMT and client visit to the BEC offices in July, which provided an opportunity to review project progress, align on delivery priorities, and reinforce collaboration between all stakeholders.
