Belong, Connect, Grow, Impact & OK NoW

Belong
Cultural celebrations across our offices, brought teams together in the true spirit of unity and joy. Onam set the tone with traditional attire and floral decorations, followed by the colorful festivities of Navaratri, filled with themed dress codes and cultural activities. Ayudha Pooja and Saraswati Pooja reminded us to honor tools and knowledge, while Diwali, the festival of lights, illuminated our workplaces with stunning décor, sweets, and laughter.

Connect
The Connect pillar recently hosted two engaging sessions. On 30th October, the fifth We Connect session featured Gaurav Kumar and Anushka Aggarwal, who shared insights on challenges in green NH₃ projects, while Marketing Director Rakesh Singh guided participants on writing impactful technical papers. The event drew 200+ employees and received excellent feedback. Earlier, on October 14, a book review session explored Dopamine Nation by Dr. Anna Lembke under the self-help theme, discussing how dopamine-driven reward systems lead to compulsive behaviors and ways to overcome them. Six panelists from various KBR offices led the discussion, attended by 100+ employees, and the session sparked strong interest for future reviews.

Grow
All In Grow has had a tremendous start, thanks to the enthusiastic support of our employees. This year, we hosted knowledge-sharing sessions on professional certifications, career growth, AI use cases, and more. As we move forward, All In Grow will continue to expand, empower, and uplift every individual as one team. If you wish to contribute, support, or join the All In Grow board, please reach out to your local All In lead. To mark the ending of the year and in appreciation of our team’s efforts, the All In initiative Gratitude Jar was held as a simple yet meaningful way to spread kindness and positivity. Employees were encouraged to write a short, heartfelt note, a compliment, an encouraging thought, or something they were thankful for and drop it into the jar. Teams across all offices warmly embraced the initiative, filling the jars with messages of gratitude and helping nurture a culture of care and appreciation.

Impact
August kicked off with the fitness-driven Corpo Jumble run and a warm networking evening for new PGETs. September brought creativity and leadership through Next Gen Leaders, MindMesh’25, and knowledge-sharing sessions like A 360° Journey Through Oil & Gas, along with Udyog Utsav promoting STEM careers and the eco-conscious Cut the Carbon Challenge. Leadership Edge with Geetha Ramamoorthi added inspiration to the mix. October blended fun and networking with Turf Tango and career insights through Leadership Lounge with Padmakumar Nair. November continued the momentum with sessions on Quality, the vibrant Children’s Day celebration Bloom Within, and a thought-provoking Tech Talk on ammonia as a hydrogen carrier.

OK NoW
OK NoW, KBR’s Employee Resource Group dedicated to well-being, turned 2025 into a year of impactful initiatives promoting mental, physical, and emotional health. Through global events like International Yoga Day, World Mental Health Day, and World Suicide Prevention Day, along with interactive sessions such as Finding You: A Journey to Self-Awareness and fitness challenges like the Push-Up Challenge, OK NoW created opportunities for employees to recharge, connect, and build resilience. Campaigns like National Book Lovers Day and creative workshops for Self-Care Day further reinforced the message that wellbeing is a shared responsibility. By fostering balance and positive habits, OK NoW continues to make wellness a way of life at KBR.
