A Conversation Today, A Future Tomorrow

Youth energy is truly infectious!

Engaging with engineering aspirants is always a refreshing experience. Talking to people half my age — but brimming with twice the curiosity — reminds me how promising the future truly is.

These young minds are the future of our nation — eager, capable, and ready to soar high. Often, all they need is a bit of direction and some mentoring.

It all began in 2020 with a casual ping on my Engineering college alumni WhatsApp group — “Can you guide our final-year Chemical Engineering batch?” Little did I know that one-time interaction would spark a journey I never anticipated — but one I’m deeply grateful for.

Since then, things have grown. Now, I also assist students tweak their CVs, discuss career options, build LinkedIn connections, or offer a quick pep talk when the clouds of self-doubt gather. The joy on their faces makes this experience incredibly rewarding. I'm happy to play a small part in their bigger pursuit.

As I reflect on this chapter, I realize how impactful even the smallest effort can be. If each of us can take a moment to mentor just one student — by listening, sharing, or simply encouraging —the ripple effect could be far-reaching.

I warmly invite my colleagues to take that first step — the joy of giving back, one thoughtful conversation at a time.
