Building a Brighter Tomorrow — KBR India’s CSR Impact in FY 2024–25
Empowering communities, enabling change, and enriching lives
At KBR India, Corporate Social Responsibility isn’t just a mandate — it’s a mission grounded in purpose and impact. Anchored to our Zero Harm philosophy of Total Inclusion, Community Engagement, and Governance, our CSR initiatives in FY 2024–25 reached deeper into communities, empowered individuals, and supported a more sustainable, equitable future.
This year, our efforts touched diverse sectors — from education and healthcare to environment and livelihood development.

Education & Youth Empowerment
We partnered with Avtar to deliver Project Puthri and Nipuni, nurturing career intentionality in underprivileged girl students aged 13 to 21. Through blended learning, mentorship, and corporate exposure, these programs helped break the cycle of poverty and build pathways to leadership.

Education & Youth Empowerment
Kriya initiative in collaboration with Rhapsody Music Foundation brought STEM-based project learning to students in Tier 2 and 3 cities —bridging opportunity gaps and building a diverse talent pipeline.

Skill Development & Livelihood Support
In partnership with the Rotary Club of Chennai, Nolambur, we facilitated vocational training for school and college dropouts. Over 200 women were certified through tailoring courses, with sewing machines distributed to support their path to financial independence.

Healthcare Access & Mobility
We extended medical care to underserved rural areas through HelpAge India’s Mobile Health Units across all four of our office locations. In Gurgaon, we funded prosthetic limbs for the differently-abled —restoring mobility and dignity.

Sustainability & Environmental Conservation
Through Rotary's Green Globe initiative, we promoted environmental stewardship by rolling out 20,000 seed balls across hilly terrains and roadside areas. Additionally, we supported the installation of digital smart boards in schools, improving access to cognitive learning tools for underprivileged children.

Looking Ahead
With initiatives lined up for FY 2025–26, including physical education programs through SPEFL, vocational training for jawan wives via the Global Adjustments Foundation, faculty development programs through Swayam Plus, rehabilitation and skill development for spinal cord injury patients with the Soulfree Foundation, and expanded outreach in physical literacy — we are set to scale our commitment to community impact to even greater heights.
Every initiative this year is a testament to what we can achieve when purpose meets action. Together, let’s continue to build not just better communities, but a better tomorrow for all.
