KBR’s Lisa Voiles, chief training officer at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, shared on “CBS Mornings” how KBR’s people are getting Artemis II astronauts ready for flights to the moon with simulations. The broadcast features astronauts as they train for the first crewed mission around the moon in more than 50 years.

Two KBR engineers — Dan Croatti (left) and Mark Adams — are pictured aboard a U.S. Navy recovery ship supporting NASA’s Artemis II lunar flyby mission as the Orion spacecraft returns to Earth. From the moment the capsule touches down in the water, Dan and Mark will help carry out the highly choreographed recovery procedures, assisting the crew from the spacecraft and seeing them all the way through their safe return to Houston.

KBR was awarded the front-end engineering design contract for Coastal Bend LNG’s planned natural gas liquefaction and export facility on the Texas Gulf Coast. This award reinforces KBR’s long-standing commitment to developing lower-carbon energy solutions. KBR continues to design infrastructure that improves energy efficiency and reduces carbon intensity across the LNG value chain, supporting a global transition toward more sustainable, responsible energy production.
