Telling Our Sustainability Story
KBR released its 2023 Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility Report. Report highlights included:
37% of KBR’s revenue was sustainability driven, a total of $2.5 billion.
Employees had access to nearly 90,000 training resources on demand.
4,955 employees were presented with ONE KBR Awards in recognition of their contributions.


“In Orbit” Reaching New Heights
KBR’s “In Orbit” podcast has published nearly 60 episodes and received nearly 23,000 downloads in the past four seasons. Here’s where people are listening. See graphic on the left.
Pathways Lead to Skills of the Future
In 2022, in direct response to feedback from our annual People Perspectives Survey, we launched KBR Pathways, an internal career fair that helps our people learn about opportunities within the organization. Since then, 13 business leaders have presented overviews of their businesses, required skillsets and open job positions across KBR. In 2024, the program focused on Skills of the Future — including cloud; cyber; data science and analytics; digital engineering; human performance and training; and program and project management — and how to develop and advance careers in these areas.

Amplifying KBR’s Focus on Net Zero
KBR released the 10-episode video series titled “3 Steps to Net Zero,” featuring leaders and subject matter experts from the Sustainable Technology Solutions business unit. Each episode highlights how our technology solutions are driving customers to their net-zero targets.
Growing KBR One Ocean in Saudi Arabia
Under the patronage of Her Highness Princess Abeer bint Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, KBR-AMCDE celebrated the remarkable success of the KBR One Ocean initiative in Saudi Arabia, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and the Eastern Province Council for Social Responsibility. Spearheading the effort were 35 enthusiastic local KBR engineers, who engaged more than 400 Saudi students from 10 public schools, immersing them in practical sustainability and marine conservation education and inspiring them to become the environmental leaders of tomorrow.


Celebrating KBR's STEM Excellence
Linda Brown, senior CSS manager, received the Technology All-Star Award by the Women of Color STEM Conference. Recipients are accomplished women of color in midlevel to advanced stages of their career who have demonstrated excellence in the workplace and in their communities.
Jheremy Martin, a KBR engineering project manager, was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award and the 2025 Modern-Day Technology Leader in the 2025 BEYA STEM Awards. These honors celebrate the achievements of Black engineers and technologists in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields.
Monica Normark, director of Biofuels, received special recognition at the 2024 Women of Color STEM DTX Conference in October, Detroit. The annual STEM Conference of Women of Color magazine recognizes women for their key contributions in STEM fields.
Celebrating Women in Defense
Gemma Whitley, Cyber Advisory group leader in KBR’s Frazer-Nash Consultancy, won the Unsung Heroine award at the 2024 Women in Defence Awards. This accolade acknowledges the contributions of women who improve morale in the defense sector and who are often unsung for their contributions. Gemma was recognized for creating the Pathfinder Support Group within the Royal Airforce, which provides an outlet for speaking about mental health struggles and access to support.


Giving Back to Community
On November 14, 2024, the Community Relations Charity Committee at the KBR Orange Park office donated 100 turkeys, 400 pounds of potatoes, and 200 pounds of onions to their local Clothes Closet for the holidays. The donation was funded by employee donations, 50/50 drawings and their annual Chili Cook-off.
