KBR's ROC II contract at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility successfully launched two first-ever daytime solar flare missions at Poker Flats Rocket Range north of Fairbanks, Alaska, this past April. The missions, Foxsi-4 and Hi-C, researched solar flares during a particularly active period for our sun.

KBR organized its first Energy Transition Conference in Houston (April 24), and later in Rotterdam (May 15) covering emerging areas such as sustainable aviation fuel, decarbonization, plastics recycling, renewable hydrogen-powered olefin crackers, blue and green hydrogen and ammonia, ammonia cracking, and more exciting topics.
