KBR supports both pilots and astronauts using the centrifuge and high-altitude chambers at our San Antonio office. One of our KBR employees, Holly Patterson, had the chance to participate in this cool experience!

Sandy Fletcher received a Silver Snoopy for her excellence in EVA (extravehicular activity) Flight Control, Crew Instruction, and leadership during ISS Expedition 68 and an astounding five US EVAs (81 through 85). As the lead for Increment 68, her unwavering dedication was essential in safely returning ISS to full EVA capability after the water event on US EVA 80 and performing five EVAs critical to expanding ISS's power capability. Sandy’s leadership, technical expertise and coordination across multiple organizations directly contributed to the success of the mission and safety of the crew.

“SYNC or SWIM,” a motley crew of KBR Defense Systems Engineering team members, participated in the annual Dragon Boat Festival fundraiser.
KBR team members in Antarctica had an incredible experience at the SCAR Open Science Conference in Pucon, Chile. As part of a team-building activity, they climbed (and conquered!) Villarrica, Chile’s tallest volcano and one of its most active. What an amazing opportunity for collaboration and adventure!
