Welcome to the Q2 2022 edition of KBR Link
Welcome to another exciting edition of KBR Link! It’s been a great year so far at KBR. We had a lot to celebrate after a fantastic first quarter during which we once again delivered outstanding financial, operational and Zero Harm performance. I say this all the time but it’s true — it wouldn’t be possible without you, our team of teams. I believe strongly in all our ONE KBR Values, but one that’s really been on display lately is “We Are a Team of Teams.” I see it all across the company day in and day out. Our people are not only doing their jobs and executing with excellence, but they’re pulling together as one. They’re staying connected, and not just at work! I’ve been encouraged to see all the networking and outreach activity from our employee resource groups (ERGs). More and more, we’re also seeing teams getting together in person again, not just to talk about business, but also to build camaraderie, which is so important. It’s appropriate then that this issue’s feature story highlights just a few of the ways KBR is creating opportunities for meaningful connection and growth — both for teams and individuals. Just as importantly, it showcases examples of how our employees are being proactive and creating opportunities themselves.
Also in this issue, in our Global Connections feature, you’ll learn about your KBR team members working in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You’ll read about the amazing progress we’re making in ESG, including our net-zero commitments. And in celebration of Pride Month in June, our featured ERG this quarter is Pride and Allies. The article provides some background about the ERG and its important purpose, and it gives information about how employees can get involved. I hope you’re as inspired and entertained by this issue of KBR Link as I was. I hope you read the stories, look at the images of our people pulling together all around the world, and then take some time to learn more about the ways you can become more connected at KBR. Whether that’s joining an ERG or a KBR Community of Interest, attending a webinar, participating in one of our numerous company-sponsored community events, or just getting together with your colleagues for lunch, the opportunities for connection are endless. And we’re just getting started! Thank you!
