You Better Workday

Workday puts our employees’ personal and business information right at their fingertips. It’s also a one-stop shop that automates many employee transactions and is the primary location for online training, free education and development resources, performance actions, goal tracking, and much more. Crucially, Workday is helping us deliver on our People Strategy enabling data-driven decisions on topics ranging from inclusion and diversity to talent and succession, all powered by best-in-class technology. Since the platform went live globally in 2019, KBR’s human resources (HR) team has made numerous improvements so that the latest HCM technology is always available and helping us move the business forward. And there’s more on the way!

Dawn of a New Workday

In April 2022, we will be launching Workday Today, a next-generation homepage experience. The new interface will use machine learning to help streamline and personalize the user experience, bringing relevant tasks, applications, and announcements front and center in a way that’s most helpful to you. We’ll also be rolling out Workday for Microsoft Teams, which will allow our team of teams to leverage the power of Workday from one of the tools we depend on most. Employees will be able to access Workday data, tasks, and insights quickly and conveniently without interrupting their natural workflow. Finally, we’ll be launching Workday Assistant. Just as with other digital assistants, this new feature will enable employees to access their tasks, information and processes through a simple virtual conversation. Your KBR HR team is continuously looking for ways to improve Workday that align with our ONE KBR Values and our business needs. Stay tuned as we roll out exciting new features in the coming year.
