KBR released its first podcast

In Orbit

in July 2021.

The show focuses on people and discusses a range of topics, covering everything from science, technology and engineering to sustainability, inclusion and diversity, and much more.

As part of the KBR EMEA Social Value offering, KBR helps young people learn more about finding and building careers. In a 2014 report, the Gatsby Charitable Foundation found that students who engage in four or more activities with employers and businesses

earned on average 16% more than peers.

KBR currently engages school-age young people through our Open Doors event, the KBR One Ocean educational program, and actual workplace experience.

KBR employees have launched a new ASPIRE chapter in Sioux Falls, South Dakota! ASPIRE is KBR’s employee resource group committed to the development of women and to the promotion of gender diversity and inclusion across the company.

KBR recently developed a

machine learning model

to predict asset performance and enable data-driven decision-making on a wastewater treatment plant for a major Australian water utility.

KBR received the

FY20 Mentor-Protégé Agreement of the Year

for the Agency-level NASA Small Business Industry Awards. NASA also honored KBR as the Large Business Prime Contractor of the Year at Johnson Space Center for the Center-level NASA Small Business Industry Awards.

Our delivery of the UK Army Basing Programme includes medical and dental facilities in Larkhill, which went into service on Jan 22, 2020. It's being used by civilian and military personnel through Defence Primary Health Care.
