Looking Forward to 2021
Looking Forward to 2021
2020 has been a year of transformation at KBR as we embarked on our journey to reimagine how we deliver. The Reimagining How We Deliver initiative was introduced earlier this year and encompasses the reshaping of our work practices, workplaces and work culture. Our goal is to become a more modern, flexible and socially sustainable company and to be an employer of choice, attracting high-quality, diverse talent from all around the world.
We’ve made tremendous progress in 2020, and as the year comes to a close, we’re looking ahead to more exciting changes.
Kick-starting the new year will be the introduction of KBR Agile Work Weeks. We understand that in many cases the 9:00 to 5:00 workday in the office is becoming a thing of the past and that in order to attract and retain the best candidates, we must offer more choice and flexibility to accommodate the ways people work. We’re committed to helping our people achieve a healthy work-life balance while they continue to successfully deliver for our customers.

What else can we see more of in 2021?

Mental Health and Well-being
The Global Mental Health and Well-being Committee will be supporting the rollout of Well-being Ambassador training across multiple regions.

Employee Resource Groups
The Global Parents' Network, a new employee resource group established to support KBR employees who are working parents or caregivers, is set to be launched in 2021. The group will be open to all parents, grandparents or caregivers.

Climate Change
KBR employees will be able to contribute more toward our climate change goals. A portion of our philanthropic activities, including charitable giving and volunteering, will be directed to organizations and projects that focus on global climate change and sustainability education.
As you can see, there’s much to be excited about in the new year, and this is only a small glimpse of things to come. Together, we are defining the future of KBR.
