KBR Employee Resource Groups

Opening Doors to Career and Personal Growth

Membership in a KBR Employee Resource Group (ERG) is more than just an invitation to a social club — it’s an opportunity to connect, network and build relationships with colleagues while also focusing on career growth and personal enrichment. KBR offers a diverse field of ERGs across our global network. No matter your age, job function or location, there is a home for you in one of our ERGs.

IMPACT

IMPACT is an employee-led organization that serves as the launching point for developing young professionals within KBR. Through professional development, networking, community outreach, and career and personal enrichment, IMPACT seeks to motivate, retain and develop our members, and transform them into future leaders at KBR.

ASPIRE

ASPIRE is an employee-driven resource group committed to the development of women and the promotion of gender diversity at KBR. ASPIRE is dedicated to building a culture of inclusion and respect in the belief that equity enhances team performance and makes KBR a better, more efficient business. All employees are welcome and encouraged to join regardless of gender.

Pride and Allies

One of the company’s newest ERGs, KBR Pride and Allies, was founded on the belief that businesses are more successful and the workforce more productive when employees can be themselves. Thus, the group’s mission is to support the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies around the globe by providing educational resources and holding networking events. KBR Pride and Allies welcomes all employees regardless of sexual orientation and seeks to enhance perceptions and attitudes of LGBTQIA+ while mitigating societal stigmas and biases.

OK NoW

(Network of Well-Being)

OK NoW (Network of Well-being) is a group dedicated to building resilience and educating people on the best means of personal care. By tackling difficult conversations, OK NoW seeks to change the stigma surrounding mental health through sessions such as Providing Information, Lunch & Learns, Tea & Talks and more. Although the group is currently only based in the U.K., expansion is on the horizon.

This year both ASPIRE and IMPACT welcomed new chapters to their global networks. KBR employees stationed at NASA’s Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley chartered new ASPIRE and IMPACT chapters this summer, offering employees on the FILMSS and ISDRS-3 contracts an opportunity to connect with colleagues in their communities. In addition, KBR employees in Oklahoma City launched an additional ASPIRE chapter in June to coincide with International Women in Engineering Day. These additions bring the total to 13 IMPACT chapters and nine ASPIRE chapters worldwide.

“The ONE KBR spirit is truly alive and well within our global network of employee resource groups, which represent the best of what KBR has to offer as an employer of choice. I look forward to their many significant contributions to our employee network and to our business as a whole.”

JENNI MYLES, EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF PEOPLE OFFICER

At KBR, we are committed to empowering our ERGs to help foster collaborative working environments in and out of the office that both enhance our workforce and create lasting change within the community.
