Arick Chikiamco Senior Marketing Specialist
ONE KBR Award/ 2020 Leading the Herd Award
Arick Chikiamco received the 2020 Leading the Herd award as well as a ONE KBR award for enhancing the look and feel of KBR’s marketing collateral, both internally and externally. He led the design change for the quarterly earnings PowerPoint slide decks, the KBR Reimagined campaign and the Government Solutions in Focus investor day event. His work on these projects has been widely recognized by KBR leadership as well as KBR’s investors and analysts. Arick’s creative design expertise has propelled KBR on its transformational journey.

Elizabeth Adkins Contract Administrator
Above and Beyond Award
Elizabeth Adkins was recognized with an Above and Beyond award for her contributions to a successful AS9100-D recertification for Kord, a wholly owned subsidiary of KBR. AS9100 is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system (QMS) for the aerospace industry and important to Kord’s customers and its continued success. Elizabeth led the coordination, planning and execution of the QMS internal audits, third-party review and the official AS9100-D audit. Her hard work, dedication and quick problem-solving skills were instrumental in Kord achieving this valuable certification.

Patrick Anderson Program Integrator
ONE KBR Award
Patrick Anderson was honored with a ONE KBR award for his efforts as program integrator for the U.S. Army’s Air and Missile Defense Planning and Control System team. Recently, the customer praised him for his adept leadership and collaboration between stakeholders during a significant program milestone. They also noted his willingness to take on additional financial and reporting responsibilities. According to the customer, Patrick is a quality performer with impeccable character and a “sharp individual who only requires a mission statement, then one can expect the assigned task to be complete.”

Duane Crawford Project Manager
ONE KBR Award
Duane Crawford received a ONE KBR for his leadership and expertise in developing the winning proposal for the $165 million task order supporting the Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions Project Office within the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space. Duane drew upon his 29 years of military experience and several years as a contract program manager in Program Executive Offices Aviation and Missiles and Space to oversee the complex technical approach section of the proposal. Additionally, he edited and formatted the management approach and basis of estimate sections. Duane played a pivotal role in securing this key contract win for the Defense and Intel Solutions business unit.

Saundra Hattrick Program Manager
ONE KBR Award
Saundra Hattrick received a ONE KBR award for her attention to detail, strong management skills and technical knowledge in delivering mission success for customers in the National Capital Region and around the world. Recently, one of KBR’s customers commended her for her significant contributions to their internal cybersecurity efforts. In addition to directly supporting customers, Hattrick serves as a KBR subject matter expert on the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification due to her vast experience and knowledge of cyber.

Bruce Mitchell KBR Systems Engineer
ONE KBR Award
Bruce Mitchell was honored with a ONE KBR award for his contribution to the development and submission of key proposals and the advancement of systems engineering within KBR. Bruce provided his business development and systems engineering expertise on three major proposal efforts, including the bid for the recent $539 million contract award supporting the U.S. Air Force Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities Directorate, and contributed to five other proposals. Additionally, he has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the KBR International Council on Systems Engineering Program within the Defense and Intel Solutions business unit. Bruce is also a sustaining charter member of the Engineering Group’s Systems Engineering Integrated Product Team.

Appreciation: Spread It Around
Recognition is an important thing for everyone, and KBR employees can do this for their colleagues every day in different ways, including nominating them for a KBR award, providing feedback during catchups, using the praise functions in Yammer groups, giving a simple “Thank you for your work today” at the end of the day, and the list continues!
