Punctuation and Symbols
— (em dash): ctrl + alt + the minus symbol in number pad
– (en dash): ctrl + the minus symbol in number pad
® (registered mark): ctrl + alt + R
© (copyright symbol): ctrl + alt + C
™ (trademark symbol): ctrl + alt + T
Actions
Cut: ctrl + C
Paste: ctrl + V
Bold: ctrl + B
Italics: ctrl + I
Underline: ctrl + U
Undo: ctrl + Z
Copy text formatting: Shift + ctrl + C
Paste text formatting: Shift + ctrl + V
Diacritical Markings
Using keyboard shortcuts will save you time instead of having to search for and insert the appropriate symbol.
All shortcuts listed are for standard PC keyboards.
Please note that the all keys noted in the “Keyboard action” boxes before the comma should be pressed at the same time, then the letter (either uppercase or lowercase) should be pressed separately.
