Posting Submission Guidelines
Before submitting your social media post, please verify the following:
- Use appropriate grammar and write the post in AP style.
- The information is true and correct.
- The content is approved for public release.
- Subject matter experts (SMEs) have been consulted and approved if applicable.
Posting Schedule
Our strategy is to vary the type of posts within the feed. By staggering posts from different businesses and varying the types of information, the scrolling viewer will see the depth of KBR information.
The guidelines below ensure maximum engagement on all posts. Through analytics, it has been determined that with more daily posts, there is reduced engagement on each subsequent post. Therefore, it is recommended to abide by the below posting counts:
- Facebook: No more than two posts in one day.
- LinkedIn: No more than two posts in one day.
- X: No posting limits.
- Instagram: One post per day. No more than two posts in one week. There is no posting limit for Instagram stories.
Best Times to Post
- For most clicks, shares, and engagement: Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- The worst time for LinkedIn: 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., immediately before Monday, and after Friday night.
- Best times to post: 7–8 a.m. and 5–6 p.m.
- Peak time of visitors: 12 p.m. and 5–6 p.m.
