Pavements
Instrumental to pavement design is the consideration of early identification and evaluation of risks and utility relocations. KBR has extensive expertise in designing pavements with Road Safety Auditing front of mind and has the right interdisciplinary capabilities to aid in the design for relocation of electrical, water and gas utilities.
Sustainability is also a core consideration for new pavement projects. Through the innovative use of sustainable solutions, such as utilising eMesh as an alternative to steel reinforcement or implementing a more sustainable, low carbon concrete mix, our teams are continuously trialling new methods and technologies to lower the carbon footprint of their pavement projects.
Intelligent Transport Solutions
To improve road safety, traffic flow, and the overall operation of road networks, we explore practical opportunities to implement intelligent transport technologies.
