Zero harm to people and our planet
KBR’s commitment to Zero Harm 24/7 is deeply ingrained in our culture. Today, it's not only about doing what's right to keep ourselves, our families, and our colleagues safe and healthy – it's also about doing what's right for our planet, our communities and our business.
KBR’s Zero Harm is underpinned by our sustainability pillars – ten key areas of focus across our company that serve as the foundation of our sustainability efforts and closely correspond with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as outlined in the UN Decade of Action plan.
We are committed to ensuring that the SDG principles serve as the benchmark for accomplishing our mission in advancing society and preserving and protecting our planet.

Looking to the stars
Globally, we’re known for helping to navigate the complexities of human spaceflight and robotic space exploration, safely and efficiently. As the infrastructure continues to evolve with the integration of data and artificial intelligence, we are constantly exploring opportunities to harness these advancements. Our focus encompasses the full range of space-based activities, including mission planning and execution, astronaut performance training, satellite management, flight operations, launch infrastructure, and engineering of robotic space systems. We’re currently working with NASA to design cryogenic liquefied hydrogen storage and refuelling facilities for the upcoming heavy lift rockets due to take astronauts to the Moon and Mars.
