Navy, Ports & Maritime

KBR supports the planning, design and delivery of complex maritime infrastructure across naval bases, shipyards, and sustainment precincts, as well as ports, wharves and jetties. Our multidisciplinary teams deliver infrastructure that supports maritime operations and future naval capability requirements, including fuel and energy infrastructure. Army

We deliver the infrastructure that underpins Army's operational readiness, training and sustainment capability. Our experience spans military bases, training establishments, logistics and support facilities, as well as secure and mission-critical infrastructure in metropolitan, regional and remote locations.

We have also designed and delivered numerous bespoke fuel facilities supporting Army barracks across the country.

Air Force

KBR delivers critical Air Force infrastructure across airbases, operational airfields and secure environments. Our experience spans runways, aprons, hangars, fuel infrastructure, mission support facilities and specialist infrastructure for RAAF bases across the country. We have also delivered the designs for the extensive Riverina Defence Redevelopment in Wagga, which includes accommodation, mess halls and specialist facilities.

Nuclear

With deep nuclear expertise, we have one of Australia’s largest NSQEP teams and experience working with all of Australia’s nuclear agencies. From safe nuclear waste handling and decommissioning, to supporting sovereign capability and delivering nuclear workforce training, we ensure safety, performance, compliance, and sustainability from day one.

Space

As Australia’s space industry continues to grow, KBR delivers infrastructure and operational environments that enable space domain activities, including ground stations, secure communications networks and monitoring facilities. Our Australian teams have created digital, virtual training environments to help NASA astronauts prepare for high-risk space operations, such as operating the International Space Station airlock.
