GROUP WINNERS
KBR-Al Yusr General Maintenance Services Team SATORP Project Jubail, Saudi Arabia
The beginning of the historic contract with SATORP (Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical) produced less-than-desirable HSE performance. But as a result of rigorous implementation of Zero Harm, there were tremendous positive shifts in safety performance within a year. Since 2013, the project has received nine prestigious SATORP Contractor Safety Awards, with an expected tenth on the way. At one point, the project had completed 5.5 million work hours over a six-year period without a lost-time injury or medical case. This progress and commitment to Zero Harm has represented a defining event in Saudi Arabia’s far-reaching strategic plans and in the region at large.
EUCOM Team LOGCAP V – Task Order 0394 Various Locations
The EUCOM team in Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia — which supports Operation Atlantic Resolve (OAR), OAR Expansion, Guardrail Common Sensor (GRCS), and other missions — lives KBR’s Zero Harm culture, ensuring every team member of the multinational workforce understands and exemplifies Courage to Care and its importance in achieving Zero Harm. The results have been exemplary, with more than 2.4 million hours worked without incident (or 1,882 consecutive days), dating to January 1, 2022. This was accomplished during a time of expanded U.S. government requirements, including opening or expanding 11 new sites in the region and driving more than 1.6 million total miles.
