About the survey

Having seen huge value from our first People Perspectives Survey last year, with powerful insights from KBR employees around the world, the Executive Leadership Team has now committed to conducting an employee survey every year. This decision led us to find a professional partner to conduct the surveys on our behalf. The platform provided by Great Place to Work (GPTW) is built on 30 years of research, and with their extensive language options and industry/country benchmarks it was an easy decision to select them as our partner for the next three years.

Survey Questions
The majority of the questions in the survey are determined by GPTW, who use a rigorous methodology to assess high-trust, high-performance company cultures. As we know your time is precious, we only added a few KBR specific questions to help us get feedback on matters of particular importance to our company. Where possible, we have mapped the GPTW questions against last year’s survey to enable us to compare results, and in future years, trend analysis will be easier, helping us measure our progress over time.
Survey Anonymity
The anonymity of your responses is assured by GPTW so no one in KBR can see how any individual responded. GPTW’s platform provides management dashboards to analyze team results, which are only visible where there were more than five respondents in a particular group. Thanks to the demographics included in the survey we can also see how different populations’ experiences may vary, helping us to measure and continue progress on our Inclusion & Diversity journey as well as by other important demographics such as tenure and career level. All data is protected under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and related regulations, and is governed in line with KBR’s policies and procedures.
Survey Report
This report is based on the responses to our main People Perspectives Survey from 2022. All employee quotes are anonymous and have been inserted word for word, with only minor spelling or punctuation changes for ease of reading. Except for the demographics data, the percentages quoted reflect the main survey, which covered the vast majority of KBR employees. We also conducted a separate survey covering a number of employees who were not included in the 2021 People Perspectives Survey, which is also being reviewed and acted upon by local management teams.
Participants
To help us compare different employees’ experience across the company, GPTW used personal information provided by participants or from Workday, all protected by GDPR and KBR policies. You will see from the stats below that we have received a wide range of responses, representing a good cross-section of KBR employees. By analyzing responses in this way, we can target our actions to help those who see the most room for improvement, and explore where best practices may be shared and expanded across KBR.
