Making soldiers' lives better
Project Allenby/Connaught (PAC) is a 35 year commitment to provide high quality living and working accommodation for 18,700 soldiers.
Our role:
- Delivering key infrastructure development projects under Phase 1 of this CAT A programme, while maintaining operational capability
- Constructing over 500 new assets and managing the demolition, refurbishment and occupancy on an operational site, allowing the MOD to continue to deliver its mission
- Our soft services and facilities management teams service and maintain the estate
- Handling lifecycle management - we replace and refresh assets and equipment at the right time

Four world class organisations have come together in the new partnership to enable Sellafield to achieve its mission, safely and securely. The Sellafield nuclear site is home to one of the most complex portfolios of construction and infrastructure projects in the world, stretching over many decades.
This new approach will support transformation from nuclear operator to world leader in environmental remediation. The contracts were awarded in May 2019 and, since then, we have built a foundation of collaborative working, to draw on and develop the experience brought from each partner. The contribution we will make to the communities we work in and with are at the heart of the partnership to ensure that we leave a lasting legacy.

A partnership between KBR, Assystem and Doosan, forming KAD, with a strategic vision to support existing and future challenges that complex civil and defence nuclear engineering and infrastructure projects face in the UK.
The Defence Infrastructure Organisation recognised our collaboration’s strength when we secured a place on the Nuclear Technical Support Provider Programme (NTSP) at Her Majesty’s Naval Base (HMNB) Clyde. They acknowledged KAD for their advanced collaborative behaviours.
NTSP will deliver specialist Nuclear technical services including Asset Management services/consultancy to support DIO, Navy Command and MOD. Supporting the Clyde Infrastructure Programme and wider Defence requirements, its primary focus will be on refurbishing and upgrading Critical Infrastructure and Assets at HMNB Clyde in support of Operation Relentless, the UK’s Continuous At Sea Deterrent.
To conclude, KAD is greater than the sum of its parts, it's not just theory-based; we have accrued a wealth of industry best practice and long-term practical experience of ‘doing’ while understanding.
