Areas of Expertise
KBR serves as a public works and logistics provider as well as operates dynamic functions including water and wastewater treatment, power generation and distribution, solid waste management, fire and emergency services, transportation, supply chain management, engineering services, field operations, and health care. We deploy computerized maintenance management systems to systemize and optimize maintenance and operation of the base facilities and assets.
Maintenance and Logistics
KBR supports all maintenance needs throughout the base, from ice production and distribution to retail and bulk fuel operations, solid waste management and recycling, pest management, equipment sustainment, supply services, property book management, landscaping and grounds management.

KBR uses government-approved business systems integrated with commercial, off-the-shelf scheduling and digital asset management platforms. These tools enable KBR to implement efficient asset management strategies and cost-reducing life cycle maintenance programs for facilities and systems.

Airfield & Port
Management
KBR supports every aspect of airfield and port operations, including loading and unloading, cargo manifesting, passenger terminal operations, and all air-side flight operations for up to 50 flights per day.
Security & Well-Being
To keep operations running smoothly, KBR supplies firefighting and fire protection services, ordnance, unarmed security, food service, power generation and distribution, water and solid waste operations, postal services, and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) services.
Vehicle & Equipment
Sustainment
Servicing, maintaining, and operating electrical, gasoline, diesel, JP-8, and natural gas-powered equipment is a KBR core competency. We support transportation vehicle fleets, military specialty vehicles, and power generation exceeding 200 megawatts.

Risk Management
The most fundamental decision associated with asset management, the “operate versus replace” decision, is all about risk. KBR uses its Next Generation Asset Management System, Asset Ikigai®, to more effectively lower risk by developing a customized asset risk model used to determine asset maintenance and inventory strategies for its customers.
Sustainable Operations
KBR is focusing on energy conservation, greenhouse gas reduction and acquiring electric vehicles for base operations. Our team leverages technology and sustainable initiatives such as smart goggles, electric tools, composting, H2 power, and circular economy to further the goal of sustainable base operations. CAMP LEMONNIER, DJIBOUTI OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE
In addition to enhancing the quality of life, KBR provides comprehensive base operations support services for Camp Lemonnier and the Chabelley Airfield site in Djibouti, as well as a forward operating base in Kenya. KBR has been supporting Camp Lemonnier since 2013 and, during that time, it’s been converted from an “expeditionary base” to an “enduring facility,” heightening its criticality to the U.S.
NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY (NSA) BAHRAIN
Since 2017, KBR has provided multi-site BOS services to NSA Bahrain, which includes dining facility services that have produced more than 1.3 million meals and operations and maintenance of more than 220 facilities, some of which require 24/7 uninterrupted services due to being mission critical.
LOGISTICS CIVIL AUGMENTATION PROGRAM (LOGCAP)
Through a series of four consecutive contracts since 1995, KBR has provided base operations support, logistics services, and construction across the Middle East and Europe. Currently, KBR provides LOGCAP services at more than 44 locations across the U.S Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and U.S. European Command (EUCOM) covering the full range of military and U.S. government operations. As part of the LOGCAP EUCOM and NORTHCOM scope, KBR provides rapid response support to scheduled and unscheduled theatre-wide U.S. Army training exercises. Our work spans Bulgaria, Germany, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Turkey, and the United States of America. We maintain over 2,500 facilities and more than 16,000 assets in support of populations that often exceed 20,000 U.S. and multinational forces.
U.S. AIR FORCE CONTRACT AUGMENTATION (AFCAP) PROGRAM, TYNDALL AIR BASE AND PRINCE SULTAN AIR BASE
Following the devastating impacts of Hurricane Michael in 2018, KBR provided rapid solutions for the recovery and support required at Tyndall Air Base in Florida. KBR provides BOS services at the Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia where we work will positively enhance the quality of life for the men and women in the 378th Air Expeditionary Wing.
