KBR’s Approach

KBR’s approach is simple. We will increase technological capabilities across the DoD in order to strengthen the overall adoption of modern enterprise systems. To do so, KBR will help cultivate talent through course development and training opportunities. AFIT has worked with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) to assist Agile Software Development (ASD) implementation education and training. Key highlights include:

• Researching best approaches used in private industry for ASD
• Implementing a course of action addressing cross-functional needs in AFMC
• Using best practices, expertise, and lessons-learned from existing efforts such as work on the F-16, F-22, and F-35.
• Including cross-functional SMEs for an approved educational baseline
• Receiving confident feedback: KBR’s ASD workshop has received positive reviews from the Combat Rescue Helicopter and AFLCMC Acquisition Center of Excellence office
