KBR’s team of acquisition excellence experts has a trusted set of experience

KBR’s “cradle to grave” lifecycle management approach guides program managers, engineers, logisticians, cybersecurity, and test experts optimizing acquisition, modernization, and sustainment outcomes that improve affordability, expedite capability delivery and decrease risk. Our team has:

  • Delivered acquisition and milestone documentation for the USAF’s largest and more complex programs such as the next generation aerial refueling system, Combat Rescue Helicopter (HH-60W), joint simulation environment, C-130J, C-5 and C-17
  • Developed IMP/IMS for the C-5, C-130J, KC-46 sustainment and the next generation air-refueling system, DCMA 14 point assessments for C-5 modernization, schedule risk analyses for C-5, C-130J and C-17, and led integrated baseline reviews for the C-5 and C-130J
  • Provided comprehensive engineering support, from design, development and production to sustainment engineering, airworthiness and integrity program support, to most USAF aircraft program offices (e.g., B-1, B-52, F-15, F-16, A-10, T-38, C-5, C-130J, C-17, KC-135 and simulators)
  • Leveraged our more than 150,000 square feet of laboratory and prototyping space to deliver rapid prototypes mitigating obsolescence and diminishing manufacturing shortage challenges
  • Delivered and executed logistics/sustainment strategies for the F-35A and many of the USAF’s legacy fighter, bomber, mobility and tanker fleets
  • Developed weapon system test strategies and plans for programs such as the Combat Rescue Helicopter (HH-60W), F-22, C-130H, C-130J and sensor programs and provided aircrew flight test support to the HH-60W, CV-22, and the Coast Guard’s HC-130J test programs.)
