The NASA Agency Honor Awards (AHA) are the most prestigious set of honor awards given to employees across the different NASA centers who demonstrate outstanding dedication and impact in advancing NASA’s goals, fostering innovation, and inspiring others within NASA. KBR CEO Award of Excellence Runner-Up
Toby Holowaty’s 40-plus years of industrial hygiene and safety experience, combined with his creativity and energy, have led to outstanding Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) performance on KBR’s Human Health and Performance Contract (HHPC) with NASA for which he received the KBR CEO’s Award of HSSE Excellence in June 2025.
Through Toby’s supervision, HHPC achieved 99.73% Zero Harm in 2024. He interacts with everyone on the roughly 1,100-person workforce, performing trainings, presentations, Courage to Care Conversations (CtCC), and safety walkthroughs, bringing KBR’s Zero Harm culture to life at Johnson Space Center.
