At KBR, there is a whole world of opportunities for you! We have tools to help you develop and grow your skills for future opportunities. Take control and explore our resources through our People First portal to Talent Development.
The 70-20-10 learning model, which incorporates experiential, social, and formal training, is helpful when designing a career development plan.
Our first-stop location for learning at KBR is Skillsoft Percipio. Here, you’ll find over 50,000 learning resources delivered in various mediums: videos, digital books, audiobooks, book summaries, live Leadercasts, boot camps, and more! You can access Percipio from your “Learning Applications” in Workday or by clicking this KBR Percipio link. Create your Playlist in Percipio and take your Percipio learning on the road after downloading the app from your Play Store.

Professional development credits are required to maintain some certifications and licenses. Professionals often receive these credits through workshops, seminars, live/virtual courses, or conferences, which can be costly. Skillsoft Percipio offers thousands of free online courses to meet these credit requirements! To find a qualifying course, find a course of interest (books, assessments, and podcasts don’t apply), scroll through the description under the video, and look for the text “Training Credits” to see the requirements to earn CPE, CEU, and PDU credits.
You can also create a Path in Workday of training resources you’d like to save for easy access in the future.
KBR’s Front-Line Leader (FLL) Program is designed to increase the capability of our leaders and develop a highly engaged and empowered workforce. Participants will attend virtual, facilitated learning sessions covering emotional awareness, communication, business acumen, and influencing, motivating, and coaching skills. Participation in the program is through the nomination of current front-line leaders; let your manager know if you are interested in participating in this program. If you want to propel your development in these areas today, you can access this curated collection of e-learning and books
KBR’s Education Reimbursement Program provides education reimbursement for courses and certifications directly related to your current position or future promotional opportunities within KBR. The program is strongly encouraged and includes academic and college finance coaching at no cost. Our partner, EdAssist Workforce Education Network also focuses on the adult learner and lowers education costs. It includes a nationwide network of academic partners that provide tuition and fee discounts.
To streamline everything, you need to achieve the certification of your choice, KBR created the Certification Prep Resources Channel within the Percipio library. These channels offer information from the governing source on exam requirements. Included at no extra cost are Percipio channels and journeys with content to prepare you to sit for the exam, including live boot camps, courses, books, test preps, labs, and more.
Espresso Sessions are short interactive bursts of learning (25 minutes) highlighting critical elements for the month's topic. Previous topics have included Change Management, Time Management, Teamwork, Emotional Intelligence, Motivation and Self-Awareness.
DR!VE is the Talent Development blog and news resource on KBR Viva Engage (previously called Yammer). Follow the Talent Development COE to learn about development opportunities and resources and collaborate on exciting development topics.
