Programme and Project Partners (PPP) at Sellafield
The mission
Sellafield is now one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes and construction hubs with a mission centred on dealing with the legacy of the site’s nuclear past, building a capability for the future, and creating a clean and safe environment for future generations.
The Programme and Project Partners (PPP) at Sellafield was mobilised in 2019, appointing KBR as the integration partner, with the purpose of transforming major infrastructure delivery at the Sellafield nuclear site in the north of England.
The partnership brings together KBR, Sellafield Ltd as the client, three delivery partners, and a wider supply chain to deliver a £7bn programme of major infrastructure projects over a 20-year period.
Each of the projects will play a vital role in ensuring Sellafield can safely empty ponds and silos, manage the waste and store it safely for decades to come. This is a mission of national significance.
