Clyde Space – ADCS Code Generation

Supported a small satellite manufacturer in the streamlining of updating and generating their Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) software.

• Move from hand-coding the ADCS algorithm in C to an automatically generating source code from a Simulink model.
• Integrated and tested the modifications into the wider systems:

- Updates to source code / Architecture

- Setup and development of the integration build process

- Testing on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) rig

• Move to a repeatable Model-based design system enable rapid iteration and reconfiguration.
• Approach significantly reduced the technical risk and an overall reduction in time and cost.
