KBR Awarded Project Management Contract to Support Libya’s Downstream Expansion at Zallaf South Refinery
KBR announced it has been awarded two firm-fixed-price task orders totaling $103 million under the United States Space Force (USSF) – Decision Support for Headquarters (HQ) USSF Analysis contract. These follow on awards from the Chief Technology & Innovation Office (CTIO) will be executed in Chantilly, Virginia and further strengthen KBR’s role as a trusted partner in national defense and space operations. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will deliver data analysis and specialized technical expertise to support strategic decision-making, capability development and personnel readiness across the USSF and Department of the Air Force (DAF) over a three-year period of performance.
KBR announced it has been awarded a 10-year catalyst supply contract by Indorama Eleme Fertilizer & Chemicals FZE for its entire ammonia plant portfolio. This marks the first long‑term catalyst agreement for KBR in the ammonia sector, further reinforcing the company’s position as a leading ammonia solutions provider globally. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide complete catalyst solutions for Indorama’s six ammonia plants in Nigeria, Georgia, Uzbekistan and India.
KBR announced it has been awarded a landmark seven-year General Maintenance Services (GMS) contract, with an optional three-year extension, from Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) for its strategic petrochemical expansion complex in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement, KBR will deliver a comprehensive suite of preventive, predictive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance services designed to achieve exceptional performance and reliability across the entire petrochemical complex. Building on more than a decade of trusted collaboration with SATORP, KBR will leverage its proven expertise and practices to support industry-leading commissioning and start-up, with the intent of achieving peak availability and reliability from day one and delivering top-quartile plant performance while optimizing costs.
KBR announced it has been awarded a contract by Zallaf Exploration, Production and Refining of Oil and Gas Company to provide project management and technical services for the South Refinery Project in Ubari, Southwest Libya. Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide contract management, project management and supporting technical services throughout the EPC phases of the project. This work is expected to be executed over a 50-month period.
