Talisker Update

A fantastic visit to Kirtlington Park Polo Club this Sat 6th July to Remember our fallen hero Rupert Thorneloe was CO of the Welsh Guards one of the sponsors of TALISKER.

Other sponsors present were GUSBOURNE vineyard and The Harrov at Little Bedwyn – Michelin Star chef.

On Arrival, our colleague Chris Hardy, met with Robert Cross (Welsh Guards) as the KBR representative and had a great conversation around Talisker and what a challenge it is set out ahead. Aiming for 35-40 days at sea they aim to navigate the cross Atlantic challenge and win the Tri manned competition weather being fair to them.

With the auto rudder keeping them a stern the little dinosaur as nicknamed will keep them aligned to their destination, rowing a three man crew they will go from Canary Islands to Antigua. Atlantic Ocean Row | TEAM V3NTURE
