Ready to Return to Work?
LENGTH OF SERVICE
TIME LIMIT FOR RETURN TO WORK

Report to work on next scheduled workday, allowing for travel time to residence plus eight (8) hours

Provide written notice of intent to return within 14 days of completing military leave

Provide written notice of intent to return within 90 days of completing military leave
- Proactive support throughout military service and reintegration back to work.
- If your leave was short term, notify your manager you have returned to work.
- Timecards remain open and active while an employee is out on leave.
- If your leave was long term and you are planning a return date that is after your reinstatement – communicate with your HR People Partner and manager.
Not Coming Back?
If you don’t return to work after your leave ends or if you need to extend your leave, notify your HR People Partner and manager.
Key Reminders:
- Both the employee and employer should be in alignment with the official return to work date.
- Managers should oversee the process to return to work
- Return the employee to active status in Workday by informing HROPS-benefits@kbr.com
- Resume normal time reporting for the employee and validate timesheets are properly coded.
- Ensure documentation such as the leave and earnings statement (LES) is provided to payroll GSUS.payroll@us.kbr.com
- If the employee’s military pay is greater than company pay, ensure regular wages are not paid for the duration of the leave.
